Rangers 1 - 0 Motherwell
May 7, 2008
Rangers kept the pressure on league leaders Celtic by beating Motherwell at Ibrox. A single goal by captain Barry Ferguson proved enough and moved Rangers to within four points of the top - and two games in hand.
Rangers struck in the 74th minute when Ferguson drove home from close range after Motherwell failed to clear Davis’s corner. Rangers next play Dundee United before their Uefa Cup Final against Zenit St Petersburg in Manchester
